"I am very proud to have worked with the Mountainside Medical Center house staff for almost twenty years along with being the division chief of oncology for the last eight years. During that time, I have been very impressed with the enthusiasm and excitement that the residents and interns demonstrate regarding patients with cancer and during the oncology lecture series. I appreciate that many house staff choose to augment their cancer medicine learning by doing outpatient rotations with our group and often many of these residents subsequently present prize winning case presentations and original research at the New Jersey Oncology Society meetings. As our population continues to age, cancer will increase even further in incidence and oncology knowledge for internal medicine physicians will become even more crucial. I hope to continue as your oncology division chief for many years to come, so that I may continue to help our future practicing physicians gain proficiency in the field of oncology."
