Coming across the Family Medicine program at HMH Mountainside feels like a divine placement. It is the definition of finding exactly what you need, right when you need it. From the moment I interviewed, an unmistakable warmth told me I belonged here. My conversations with the leadership and faculty showed me that this program genuinely cares about its residents. Even more importantly, talking with the residents showed me they are a group that truly cares about each other; a real family, one I knew I wanted to be part of. Mountainside brought the personality I was looking for while demonstrating a commitment to both clinical and cultural competency.
From my first moments meeting the faculty, staff, and my co-residents, I felt part of a team determined to provide excellent healthcare to the community while having fun and growing together. I am incredibly grateful for a program that prioritizes medical competence, character, and a commitment to both professional and personal growth. I hope to be a physician who can listen well, treat holistically, and provide dignified patient care. I am confident that Mountainside will equip me and refine the skills needed to do just that. I look forward to contributing to the legacy of exceptional primary care physicians that this program has cultivated.
