Choosing HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Medicine Residency Program as my preferred program was an easy decision. I felt very comfortable with the faculty I interviewed with and had a strong sense of their commitment to residents' training and growth. Personally knowing three residents who had trained at this program, I heard only positive feedback about their experiences. The program stands out for its ideal location as it offers a rich and vibrant environment, and its impressive diversity, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all residents. I also looked at its curriculum and saw how well-organized it was, placing significant emphasis on residents’ wellness.
The program also fosters a close-knit community where residents help and support each other. I am glad to be close to Northern Virginia, where I have family and friends I can always visit. I am very confident Mountainside FM residency will equip me with the knowledge and training I need to take care of my patients.
