Kevin Berg, M.D.

Director, HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Practice Residency Program

Dr. Berg is a faculty physician at Mountainside Family Practice Associates and is board certified in Family Medicine.  He has additional certifications in Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Berg is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine.  He completed his residency and a fellowship at CentraState Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Berg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and General Practice at St. George’s University.

 

Everett W. Schlam, M.D.

Assistant Director HackensackUMC Mountainside Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program

Dr. Schlam is a graduate of the Rutgers Medical School – Camden. He is an alumnus of the HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Medicine Residency who served as a Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in Faculty Development at The Institute for Urban Family Health and obtained a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine and Adolescent Medicine.  Dr. Schlam is a physician for Mahwah Public School System, the Midland Park Public School System and Student Health Services at Montclair State University. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor - Department of Family Medicine, New Jersey Medical School (UMDNJ) and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine. He’s also the Chair and Professor with the Department of Family Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine.

 

George W. Miller, M.D.

Associate Director, HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Medicine Residency Program

Dr. Miller is an alumnus of the HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Medicine Residency Program – He attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry -NJ Medical School in Newark. He also completed a fellowship in Addiction Medicine at Mountainside Hospital. His interests are addictions, occupational health, medical research and practice management. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Family Medicine-University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine.

 

Preethi George, M.D.

Faculty Attending, HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Practice Residency Program

Dr. George attended Miraj Medical College and completed her residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. George is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and General Practice at St. George’s University.

 

Indira Gjoni, M.D.

Faculty Attending, HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Medicine Residency Program

Dr. Gjoni is an alumna of the HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Medicine Residency Program - She attended St. George's University School of Medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Gjoni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and General Practice at St. George’s University.

 

 

 

Daniel Cruz, Ph.D., ABPP

Behavioral Scientist/Psychologist, HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Medicine Residency Program

Dr. Cruz completed an APA accredited internship at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC). He is a  Child and Adolescent Services Board-Certified Counseling Psychologist (ABPP-Co), an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and an Assistant Professor, Seton Hall University, Professional Psychology and Family Therapy (PPFT). His interests are anxiety, depression, PTSD, multicultural counseling and addictions. Dr. Cruz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and General Practice at St. George’s University.

 

Mark Paul Faber, M.D.

Preceptor, HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Medicine Residency Program

Dr. Faber is a graduate of the Ross University School of Medicine - He completed his residency training at Connecticut Valley Hospital (a Yale affiliate) and fellowships in Child Psychiatry and Sleep Disorders at the University of Medicine and Dentistry – Robert Wood Johnson.  He is in private practice in Montclair and also serves as Director, Division of Pediatric Psychiatry, Saint Barnabas Pediatrics. He is a consultant for The Children’s Institute and Family Services League.

 

Aiman Shilad, M.D.

Faculty Attending, HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Practice Residency Program

Dr. Shilad is a graduate of St. George's University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Mt. Sinai University, Paterson, New Jersey. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Shilad is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association. He is a Certified da Vinci Console Surgeon and credentialed and privileged for Robot at both
 Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ and Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ.

 

Adrienne Salerno, M.D.

Faculty Attending, HackensackUMC Mountainside Family Practice Residency Program

Dr. Salerno is a graduate of St. George’s University - School of Medicine - She completed her residency at HackensackUMC Mountainside. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  Dr. Salerno is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and General Practice at St. George’s University.
